Alder Court Apartments

OMG!!!!!!! Where to start, the lady “manager” in the office she’s never in the office she only works for half a day. The rent (trash bill) keeps going up because we use the trash a lot but that’s not the case, they leave the gate open 24/7 so people come and dump trash in our trash so that’s the reason it gets filled fast but we the tenants get charged for it. Second the tagging around the apartments is insane daily, but yet all they do is cover it with paint but it never stops because the management doesn't want to kick them out. Third, spiderwebs everywhere and the floors are always dirty, furthermore, management is aware of everything but they don’t do nothing about it. I don’t even live here but my boyfriend’s parents do ! Do yourself a favor and don’t move here !! I don’t even know where to start.. the apts are so dirty crackheads in the garage getting high, roaches everywhere even after telling management and they haven’t done anything for years! I mean years! Other reviews talk about mice but she’s on the 3rd floor so that isn’t a problem for them. The elevator is always shut down for no reason. They’re gangs and tagging everywhere ! The mold in her bathroom is indescribable it’s so bad !! I mean BLACK MOLD ON EVERY WALL in there, and they just want to paint over it but haven’t for months it’s terrible.!!! Rude management, they never fix anything, and they always act like it's a hassle to do repairs. We had a small fire in the electric stove and called the emergency number so they could look at our stove and they didn't answer. The man that came to look at the stove said it was perfectly fine even though the coil itself was on fire. Our kitchen hood doesn't work. They charge for lightbulbs. The pool is NEVER open. Plumbing is horrible and they just don't fix it. The elevator permit is always at least a year out of date. My mother in law has gotten stuck in it before but again, no maintenance or repairs are ever done here. Laundry machines continuously malfunction. I'm surprised hey haven't shut this place down yet.

After emailing the manager back and fourth and verifying that there was a 2 bedroom 2 bath available. My roommate and I took a bus to get there and the manager says that she never said that and offered us a 1 bedroom instead. I went to check the email and suddenly she remembers telling me that. What a waste! And rude, lying lady!!

Elevator never works. And it sucks for people who have disabilities. Which is not a accommodation for people that have a disability. And if they use the staircase can result in a lawsuit. Due to injury.
