Alara North Burnet

They want to be a 'Gated' community. The front gate is always working. The back gate is always broken and open. You might get a hot shower today. Hot water is not available sometimes. The best of this complex is the staff. Eva and the maintenance team are awesome.

I had a great experience at Alara North Burnet, and a big part of that was thanks to the manager, Eva. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always attentive to any questions or concerns I had. I think the rent is a bit high but the location works well for me that willing to look past that. It helped that from the moment I inquired about the unit to moving in, she made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s not always easy to find someone who genuinely cares about residents, but she goes above and beyond. Highly recommend these apartments—especially if you value great management!

NEW UPDATE 1/16/2023 - Called and emailed them several times. Never got back to me. This place is a joke. I even went there during business hours and there was no one working. I slipped a note in the door for them to get back to me, and they didn’t. They are purposefully ignoring every attempt I make to contact them. Do not rent here. It’s hilarious they commented offering to help, it is all a front. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. UPDATE 12/21/2022 - Just saw they replied to my Google review. Called and left a voicemail. Told them to call me back and that I'd be calling again tomorrow. Absolutely horrendous. This place owes me $937.06. “Gated community” yet gates do not work and fence was broken in several places. I entered the apartment and it was filthy. Urine was in the

Vida has been awesome. The office staff is amazing and helps with whatever they can. I wanna give a special shout out to Vanessa, she’s has been super helpful and caring!! The maintenance team is awesome and always gets things done as soon as they can! Thank you guys!!!

Mixed experiences here. Good quality for the price, but management isn’t very accommodating during renovations (also, despite having signage about a pool and fitness center, neither is open). The leasing office and maintenance are both fairly prompt. There are barely enough parking spots for all the residents, sometimes the recycling is not removed because it is full of waste, and there are no policies in place about smoking — these are the biggest day to day issues. With regards to a different review mentioning safety, it does feel safe, although there has still been some car theft and mail vandalism.
