Alamo Title Company

If you’re given the choice to choose your title company, I’d go with someone else. I didn’t think much of it when I agreed to use Alamo, but I wish I would have. My closing experience was very underwhelming and transactional. I didn’t even get a cool picture to share with family and friends. Isn’t that how referrals work? Provide a positive and memorable experience to gain business? Especially for milestones like buying a home?

The closing experience at Alamo Title for me was EXCELLENT. The communication before, during and after closing was perfect. Thanks for everything and hope you can keep the same customer service and your google reviews will be better too.

This company is horrible and the front office is just as worse. I'm closing on my house and need a survey done. I set up an appointment and they didn't even give me a hard time and date. They literally told me.(The crew will be onsite tomorrow, MAYBE this afternoon. No Locked Gates and No Dogs in the yard).When they showed at a random time, they didn't contact me and say they were on the way. , so we missed the appointment even though we were at home and waiting. When I called back the next day to reschedule and report my problem...they lost my appointment and also forgot what my problem was when I initially called them.

I wouldn't advise using this title company due to poor communication. It feels like they don't prioritize updating you on your files. Betty at the front desk is notably rude and avoids answering questions. In our experience, they're one of the worst title companies we've encountered. However, Delilah stands out positively; consider asking for her if you must close with this company. Additionally, ensure your addresses are accurate, as commission checks have been known to get lost, and Betty may provide only an estimated date of when it was sent, ending with a dismissive "have a nice day."

There was a huge disconnect with my signing. Everyone was pretty helpful except one lady. The one that did my actual signing. She was in mild G rated terms, bitter and toxically aggressive. Like you can tell shes not a nice person in everyday life. It took two days to do my signing and on the 1st day she was gruff and treated me like it was my fault they didnt have updated billing information (i knew nothing about it). At the signing the next day... Same raggedy attitude. I did ask for a second opinion from someone who experienced her and they said the same thing.
