Addison at South Tryon

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel people should know my experience. For the past 3 months, there has been an ongoing marijuana smell coming into my apartment. I reported it multiple times. Management said they investigated and identified the person responsible, but nothing changed. The smell continues to enter my unit, and I’m still waiting for a real solution. On top of that, I have now found two cockroaches inside my apartment. This is extremely concerning. Between the persistent weed smell and now pest issues, I no longer feel comfortable in my own home. I have asked to leave without penalty because the living conditions have not been resolved, and I still have not received a clear answer. I’ve lived here for 2 years. It was okay. It’s a nice neighborhood. A little over priced for a one bedroom but that’s just Charlotte. It got better after the first crew left and new management came in. I believe I was in an old build, so there were cabinets/drawers falling apart and I never got a handle for my shower. Some People don’t pick up after their dogs though. There are piles of poop and there is a tree that has bags full of trash hanging from the branches in the back. Sometimes the gate works, any other time it’s open. Say goodbye to your security deposit. The water bill is 2 months behind so when you leave, it comes out of your security deposit. 👉🏾Went from $200 to $54 real fast.

From the start of my application to move in day everything has been amazing. The community is beautiful and the apartment is more than I could have hoped for. Chloe is one in a million, she kept me in the process loop and you worked hard to get everything done. I am very happy about the choice I made moving into the Addison! Anyone looking for a place to call home in Charlotte, I highly recommend The Addison! The space is amazing!

Overall been noticing a lot of positive changes to the apartment complex since new management took over. Been living here three years and it's been great being in this area so far. The office and maintenance staff are great, professional, and prompt. Would definitely recommend!

The property management team is amazing they are always willing to listen and aid assistance when needed. The maintenance staff does a great job maintaining the property. I had a few things that needed fixing within the apartment and Avery from maintenance came to assess the issues and fixed them in a timely and efficient manner.
