They left me alone to live my life and made repairs for all maintenance requests quick. As others have said they also do Not answer emails, phone calls, physical mail, but if there is an issue like a leaky pipe they will be there within Hours. In 9 years in the same rental I have never had an inspection or issue at all! As a Renter all I can say is Thank You! But I also just saw the other reviews so this Solid 5 stars is Specifically for Tenants. Im just a disabled Veteran who needed a place to live, they supplied that comfortably.

I enjoy running from active property. I've been renting from them for about a year or so, and I've had three issues and they were on top of them in a timely manner. I believe they're very flexible with the changes in my income and were willing to work with me. The only thing I could say negative is it's very hard to get into the office to chat with them. Lol because they are so busy And sometimes communication takes a while, at least when I first started renting. Other than that I feel they are HONEST AND FAIR. I believe as property owners they come across a lot of people and I believe in my heart they try to help as much as they possibly can.

I've read through the reviews and would agree with all the reviews giving Active Service 1 star. They managed our rentals for years. When Betty was in charge, things ran smoothly, there was good communication, and the rentals were maintained. Until recently, we were unaware how poorly our rentals were overseen by Active. It's true that they are impossible to reach by phone. We've switched over to another property management company. It took many weeks for Active to get the materials to the new property management company. The new company, Sterling West, did a walk through of each property and spoke with the renters. It's astounding to find out about the endless repairs that need to be done and appliances replaced. Renters indicated that they contacted Active numerous times regarding repair

The house I live in was sold and this property management took over as the landlord. They do not respond to phone calls. The only form of contact I have every been successful with is through text message. As of April 2022 they no longer respond to me. I have a maintenance issue with the kitchen sink that I alerted them about, also they raised my rent and when I tried contacting them to verify the amount, no response. They are never in the office. There is no way to get a hold of them. I would not recommend them to anyone. Also last year I got married, I contacted them to ask about the procedure to add my husband to the lease and they said to fill out an application online and there wouldn't be a charge for background or anything like that. Called several times. State has called them several times on our behalf as we qualify for a rent break and the state can help. Our property is in need of repair and our back doors do not latch or lock (we have had to rig it in a way that won’t do damage to the doors) Dryer hose goes into the garage and lays on top of the hot water heaters. We have brick flooring (inside) that is not mortared down, and they can be freely lifted up. Every single brick. (About 500 of them) we are paying the taxes on the home as the bill comes to the house and we can’t get a hold of ANYONE. We have called, emailed, and sat in the parking lot of their company. It would be very helpful if they would answer their phones, instead we get a “voicemail is full” or “we are no longer accepting voicemails at this time.”
