As a Category Manager for a national aerospace company, I oversee our Temporary Relocation Program, placing our employees in apartments during their work assignments. To date, I have rented 18 units from Acero Queen Creek. What continually brings me back to Acero for our housing needs is the consistently outstanding feedback from our employees. During my lease, my washer broke six different times and was never replaced. It was so poorly repaired that it literally punched a hole in my wall twice and even dented my dryer. Despite multiple maintenance requests, management never resolved the issue — I was left with damaged appliances and walls because of their negligence. When I moved out, I left the apartment thoroughly cleaned, yet they still charged me over $350 for “standard cleaning” and “carpet cleaning,” plus painting fees without ever providing proof of damage. Their own move-out checklist even states there will “always” be cleaning and carpet charges, which is misleading and against Arizona law. I’ve had a lease for over four years now with this apartments my first lease was over in Gilbert off of Williams and Wrecker This company is very nice respectful they keep the area very clean. I feel safe when I go to bed at night to sleep and I wake up in the morning they keep everything in good working condition when I call maintenance to change my filters, they’re there the next day sometimes the same day I’ve been very happy here and I would recommend everybody I see to come and have a rental apartment with this complex. If I could give zero stars, I would. Out of my $750 deposit, I only got $196 back. They deducted $200 for “standard cleaning” $72.33 for “Paint & Labor” and $150 for “Carpet Cleaning” then sent me an estimate instead of a real invoice. You will also see on the invoice that they charged for “turn over” which is illegal in the state of AZ. I have yet to receive any real invoices or proof of pictures that the apartment needed anything that was charged to me. I went as far as scrubbing clean the TOPS of all cabinets.
