Academy on Eastern Lake (Brooke Commons)

I have lived at Avanath for 14 years, and over the years I’ve met a lot of people in the office who are friendly and helpful. The complex itself is in a great area, it’s very quiet at night and overall a beautiful place to live. That said, my apartment definitely needs some upgrades. Fresh paint, new rugs, updated appliances, and a remodeled bathroom would make a huge difference. Many times I’ve submitted service requests, but they often go unanswered. As a result, I have cracked walls, a bathtub that’s falling apart, slow hot water, and a very old stove and etc.. If maintenance and apartment updates were more responsive, this would be a beautiful place to live. The community and location are excellent it’s just unfortunate that keeping the apartments updated has been so challenging.

The staff at the leasing office is great. Patricia, my leasing agent, is so sweet and kind. She goes above and beyond. Wendy, the new property manager, is amazing. Its a very nice complex. Nice area. Safe, quiet. A lot of things close by. I highly recommend

It's not perfect here, but it's pretty damn good. Sometimes I find dog poop in front of my unit. Frequently, somebody somewhere is playing music too damn loud. Every year, they increase my rent too damn much. On the other hand, my primary care doctor is one half mile from my front door. My dentist is across the street from my primary care doctor. My pharmacy is in in the Publix which is adjacent to my primary care doctor. Our favorite family restaurant is in that same plaza with my doctor, pharmacy, and dentist. My physical therapy facility is two miles from here. The nearest full-service hospital is six miles from here. The on ramp/exit for toll road 417 is half a mile from here. We have those ubiquitous Muscovy ducks wandering about the property. We occasionally have some Sand Hill Crane

All though it's out of the control of the residents the property has change management, name and ownership more then 6 times in 20 years. It's change and deteriorate bit continues to get repaired / improved. It's a good place to lieve very neighborly.

If I could give this property a zero, I would’ve. These people are terrible, the management teams at this place are horrible. They never answer the phone, I have called 14 times, and no one cares to pick up the phone. These people need customer service training for they are lack of training. Instead of replying to customer and apologizing to them, how about you have set up training for them? Reach out to the property management team and get this fix. You guys send me to collectors ruins my credit for no reason. I have paid y’all and you sent me to collectors. And no one seems to be fixing this.
