True Home Away From Home When I first moved to Academy Lincoln, I thought its best feature was the 5-minute walk to UNL. But soon I discovered its real strength— the people. The management and team make you feel valued, heard, and supported. They’re flexible, kind, and always ready to help. They don’t just answer questions— they listen with empathy and understanding always seeking ways to accommodate whatever needs their residents have. Special kudos to the maintenance crew— more than once, they turned my bad day into a good one. Academy Lincoln didn’t just give me a place to stay— it gave me a place to feel welcome, to feel valued, to feel at home. Definitely recommend!

Ashlee did an amazing job! I have never felt more confident about finding housing for the rest of my three years here at UNL. I would recommend her as a tour guide to everyone. She explained everything well and kept a smile on her face the whole tour. She is so professional and gave clarity every time we needed it.

4 months in and I can’t say I recommend this place very highly to anyone. Was super excited to move in this August but you quickly learn everything is a facade. The building is semi nice all in all, and amenities aren’t bad. Rooms are decent, furniture is pretty okay. It’s not 800 bucks a month worth however. Pool was closed a looot in warm months and the green areas are pretty tiny. Inside the apartment the rooms are small, the walls are super thin, and they come with non optional furniture that the apartment doesn’t store for you. I have to rent a storage unit just to put my own desk and bed frame in here. Maintenance staff are hit or miss. I’ve had a really nice new guy to help fix my sink. But another that came to “fix” our dishwasher twice when we moved in. Dishwasher still doesn’t w

I refuse to believe anyone that gives this place more than 1 star has actually stayed here. If having even a modicum of WiFi is important to you stay as far away as possible. It has been out 12 times this year and there’s nothing you can do about it, and they won’t do anything to rectify it. The washing machine was broken and I had to submit numerous requests before they even pretended to fix it. The lights in my kitchen didn’t work for the first 3 months I lived here. The elevator in the parking garage is either broken or about to break again. I haven’t had the luxury of moving out yet, but judging by all the other reviews I can’t imagine the nonsensical charges I’ll be faced with. I’d give it no stars if I could. I paid rent and stayed at my bf home most of the time bc this place was so horrible. Also the management thinks bc it’s mainly college students that everyone is ignorant to the real world. They talk down to the residents and tell them all kinds of lies to get them to do what they want out pay fees that they shouldn’t. When the ppl moved out my apartment each one was charged crazy numbers for things that they didn’t do. When I moved they had staff come do some remodeling and charged me for all the trash n mess they left in my apartment! The furniture was upside down bags of trash dust and dirty counters etc just destroyed! They said I left the apartment like that. I even recorded a video showing what it looked like when I left and they still charged me. DO N
