I requested a home via Airbnb. They said it was not available anymore and offered other non interesting houses. They refused to decline my original request even though they could not accommodate it and asked me to withdraw my request instead (declining guests on Airbnb as a host make your listing less reliable). A few hours later they get back to me saying that the original house I wanted was actually available..I reported the host to Airbnb because all of this look very non professional to me, based on my 14 years experience booking rentals on Airbnb.

Please…. If you are considering using this company for ANYTHING, think again. I found and rented from Matt and Kate, the owners of Absolute Homes, on Airbnb. I noticed prior to our trip that they weren’t the friendliest or most accommodating hosts but it wasn’t anything major. Upon arrival, you’ll find that there are an overly excessive amount of signs around the home stating if you even so much as crack a door, the entire AC unit might break and you’re financially responsible. In their listing, I then saw they have a part where it states they are not liable for any air issues AT ALL (I just saw this today, actually). It’s funny how they imply so many rules to their system (can’t be under 73, can’t open windows or doors) but they can’t even do the simplest things to upkeep it themselves, s
