808 West Apartments

My partner and I moved in recently and we absolutely love 808! Miranda in the leasing office has been so helpful, kind, patient, and welcoming with us and our numerous questions as we just moved in. She’s a rockstar! The building is beautiful, clean, and our apartment layout is spacious and comfortable. We were looking for a kitchen that had a gas stove and island which is a rarity these days in San Jose! We are super happy with our experience so far :)

I have lived in this community for about a year and a half. During this time, I tried my best to be patient and reasonable. However, the ongoing noise problems eventually became so unbearable that I had no choice but to break my lease. Pros: • You won’t be homeless. That’s the only real advantage. ⸻ Cons: 1. Ant Problem With No Proper Solution I live on the second floor and still experienced frequent ant problems for a period of time. When I reported this to management, they simply said that “ants are everywhere” and did not provide any real solution. There was no effective pest control or follow-up. ⸻ 2. Serious Noise Issues Due to Poor Construction This is the biggest problem. The building structure is very poor, which leads to extremely bad sound insulation. Noise travels easily

Miranda gave us an amazing tour. She was incredibly polite, welcoming, and very informative throughout the entire experience. She took the time to answer all of our questions and made everything feel easy and comfortable. We truly appreciated her professionalism and exceptional service.

A Premium Price for a Security Nightmare and a Landlord Who Doesn’t Care: Moving here was, without question, the worst decision we’ve ever made. Let’s start with safety — or the complete lack of it. Our car has been broken into four times in a single month. Four. The garage door has been broken and left wide open for weeks at a time, essentially rolling out the welcome mat for anyone who wants to walk in and help themselves. We’ve reported it repeatedly. The leasing office has done absolutely nothing. We are now over $2,000 out of pocket in car and window repairs because this building cannot be bothered to secure its own parking structure. The elevators are perpetually out of service. Trash is left piled in the hallways past 7pm on a regular basis — so after a long day, you get to wade thr

I lived at 808 for 3 years. I recently moved due to personal issues and my kids and I miss it so much. It really was “home.” And we wish we were still there. The staff were amazing. Carolina has been there since we moved in, in 2022 and she has always been there for anything we needed. Macie and the maintenance workers are amazing as well. If anything ever needed to be fixed, it was immediately taken care of. Even the after hours security man was amazing! I also loved that one car parking was included and any extra car after that was $50 a month. A lot of places in the area charge $125+ a month even for that first car. My kids LOVED the pool here, my son would jump right in because I believe it’s heated all year. Renting the community room was super cheap too. We had multiple parties there
