I lived in this building for 15 years and paid my rent consistently — including throughout the entire COVID period, when many tenants did not. I did not fall behind because of irresponsibility. I fell behind after experiencing a SA, during a period of severe trauma. What followed was not compassion, professionalism, or even basic decency. I was illegally evicted, despite later being told in court that all required payments and legal fees had to be satisfied in full for me to regain possession — which I paid. After I returned to my apartment, the landlord then attempted to introduce new, unexplained charges that were never mentioned in court or at the time of payment. I have lived here for almost a year, and I have nothing but good things to say. Excellent location with easy access to restaurants, gyms, and a half-hour commute downtown. My apartment is comfortable and quiet (!) with large windows, a lovely kitchen, and plenty of light for my plants. I have more than enough room for a bed, couch, and desk, and cooking meals is a breeze. For a studio, I'm shocked with how spacious and pleasant everything feels. Wood floors, two closets, and a space for my microwave? Can't ask for much more than that. Central heating is also excellent, and I've had zero problems with pests. Management has also been a joy to work with. Any (minor) maintenance requests have been answered promptly and thoroughly, and the premises are regularly cleaned and maintained.Can't s

I’ve lived here a little over a year. The apartments are really nice and reasonably priced for the area. Only issue is I’ve now had 7 packages go missing that were marked “delivered”. I’ve informed management about it a few times now and they’ve told me there’s nothing they can do about it. For how nice the buildings are, they should install cameras in the lobbies. It’s crazy that I can’t even order items to my own home anymore.

if i had it to do over again i'm not sure i would move here again. pros - the apartments are a decent size and price (well, for manhattan...) because you're all the way on york. both the Q and the 6 (only two accessible trains) are a solid 13 minute walk away. close to the east river, so nice for walking and running. there's also a park with a pool, if you can get in. cons - no amenities. there is a small laundry room on one side of the building, but it's kindof gross and expensive so not really worth it to me. area is a bit of a desert. there is a duane reade and bodegas and a library, but really not a lot of variety if you like to eat out or do things. have to go over to 1st for life things (e.g. hardware stores) and then 2nd at least for fun things. bugs. when i was looking

I lived there for almost 3years. Let me just start by saying how amazing the maintenance office guys are. And Steve the manager. Five STARR.
