5241 Center Blvd

Going on our third year here in the building. Absolutely no complaints. From the front desk staff, to management, to tenants, to the package room staff, it's been a great experience. I've lived in several apartments throughout my time in NYC and this by far has been the best. The accessibility to the city by ferry, car, or train is very easy. It's a quiet neighborhood. The views are incredibly stunning. I know I won't live here forever, but I know I'll surely be sad when that day comes.

Although the building door staff and neighborhood are great, the building itself and its management makes our daily life here a horrible experience. Every fall and winter pipes make super loud banging noises keeping us awake at night and no one can fix it. We were complaining about it last fall multiple times, they had a whole year to fix it and here we are, listening to the noise again every night as soon as the heat season started.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! TFC is a horrible property management company that does sneaky and underhanded things to drive low income people out. The management company is very controlling here. For example: you pay $50 a month for amenities but you can only have two guest in the amenity spaces at all times which means if you want to throw an event you would have to throw it in your house which barely is enough space. I have lived elsewhere and another management company allows you to buy the space for a set price and allows 25 people and that’s without paying for amenities . Then if you live on a floor with nosey complaining neighbors good luck!! They will email management with a bunch of false complaints and management will threaten you with false accusations and threaten you with legal act

One of the worst managements I have experienced. The building staff are really nice and friendly but the management is terrible. They charge fees after moving out, refuse to be flexible around transfer of lease. I hated staying in this building only because of my sour experience with the management. The amenities they offer for the rent they charge, is not knocking out of the park experience, I'd rather consider other sister properties like Avalon in the same vicinity than them any day. No wonder why they have so many empty apartments even now.

5241 Center Blvd and TF Cornerstone are by far the best. My husband and I lived there for about 1 year and received the absolute fantastic treatment. The units are modern and stunning. But even more importantly the team at 5241 are second to none. Every person (Brian, Marvin, Vince, Shami and more) at the front desk and the package attendants knew our names and even our apartment number. Someone was available at any hour to help us if need be. The building is safe and secure and very well maintained. Maintenance addressed problems quickly (within 24 hours) and have an awesome leader, Junior. Junior loved our pup (and she went crazy for him) and even gave her treats at any passing. We loved our time at 5241 and only left due to relocating to the West Coast. My friends are even annoyed with
