512 Living

This is my second review due to worsening conditions DO NOT SIGN WITH THESE PEOPLE, STAY AWAY. They do not care about your safety, they do not cate about your health, their entire prerogative is to pinch every cent out of you they can while doing as little as they possibly can to actually do their jobs. Every photo I am posting is “POST” inspection, and when I asked for a document detailing the inspection, I was refused and told they do not share this information with tenants. We had to have our entire kitchen floor replaced , the floor of my bathroom had to be replaced because of a leak under the laminate. Our dishwasher has been “fixed” multiple times, and broke each time immediately after. Our dryer has broken multiple times and their solution was to do quarter size loads in the dryer.

Awesome Property MGMT Co. Metro512 has managed multiple residential properties for over 35 years. Wonderful staff and Mgrs. Very fast response to maintenance, renting and occupancy issues. Very fast response to phone inquiries. Handles maintenance request extremely fast. No issues with any Metro512 employees. All very friendly, courteous and professional. Best Property MGMT Co. in Austin by far. I would recommend highly. I will continue to have this Co. as my property Mgr. for sure.

If you’re thinking about renting with 512 Living, do not. This is the worst, most predatory management company I’ve ever dealt with, and they rely on college students not knowing their rights, and the apartments are bug and mold infested with zero plans for treatment. Have you noticed no one responds to incredibly low reviews, and left completely ignored? Ones with serious claims stating neglect and abuse of the law? These are slumlords... Just two months after I moved in, a random phone number someone I’d never spoken to, texted me using my full name and exact address, asking if they could “show my unit” to prospective tenants for the following year.
