505 State

I toured 505 State while searching for a new apartment in the area, and while I liked the building’s design, I felt it offered fewer amenities than other nearby buildings. The gym was great, but the coworking space felt limited, and the plant room felt like a missed opportunity for a more usable resident space.

I recently moved into 505 State and found the leasing and move-in team to be exceptional. Alexa and Kate did a great job helping me through the leasing process, going out of their way to address my questions and being incredibly responsive throughout the process. Everything went through flawlessly and I am enjoying all that this building has to offer. Thank you Alexa Hinton and Kate Pessin.

Front desk and management have always been very friendly, caring and responsive! Especially Robert and Rey :) Amenities are amazing (will miss the plant room so much) and building is well maintained with great events and building app (shout out to bldg manager Kerry). After moving out to a new building I really miss how positive and warm this building has been. Only issue I’ve had is my apartment was on a lower floor and faces the main road- lot of noise from sirens, loud music from street fairs etc. Can also feel subway sometimes under the building. Choose higher floor if possible

All the staffs are super friendly BUT!!!! If you’re considering signing a lease here, read the break-lease / early termination clause VERY carefully. When you sign, they basically reserve the right to charge early termination fees “based on their own assessment,” and in practice it can be extremely costly. In my case, the only options I was given were: 1. Pay a break-lease fee equal to 3 months of rent — which is about $12,000, or 2. Find someone to take over the lease — BUT the new tenant would not receive any of the original concessions (such as free months / rent promotions). That means even if you try to do the “responsible” option and find a lease assignee, the offer becomes much less attractive to potential renters. Been living here for almost a year. Best service from the greatest team that makes our day. Big shout out to three of the super stars from the staff. Hector who brings the smile to all the resident every day warms each and everyone of our heart. Robert who always help out with the fastest package scanning. He remembers all of us and make sure to say hi and ask about our days. Alfonso who knows inside and out of entire building.
