There have been numerous problems and the maintenance people have a way of dumping the situation back on the renter rather than solving the problem. The lack of hot water when you turn on the faucet or the fact that the heat in the apartment is usually around 78 to 80 degrees therefore you have to run the air to stay comfortable. My electric bill doubles in the summer. Seems like no one wants to listen.

Here at 42 West Merchantville Has been a Great Expierence, At the Rental Office. Renee was very welcoming , and very Professional . And the Maintance Staff are Great. The neighbors are very friendly, mature adults , and welcoming as well, The apartments are very nice quiet area in which I like , property is very well kept . Merchantville is a town that is very family oriented and has different activities , restaurants , all in walking distance . I’m so happy , I choose 42 West as my home Thank You 🤗

Could use more parking spaces. Apartment are nice size.

I really enjoy living here, nice and quiet. Rent is affordable. Office staff and Maintenance staff are always polite and address any needs you may have. I been living at 42 West Apartments now for 6 years.I would recommend 42 West Apartments to anyone who is looking for a nice place to live.

I had a very unpleasant experience living here. Very noisy upstairs neighbors that made it so that I couldn’t even sleep in my own apartment. I had to leave in order to get some sleep. During the day they were loud and noisy as well, throwing things down the stairs, jumping off of their couch, stomping and running. So yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you want to be able to live in peace. After contacting management multiple times, and sending over time stamped videos of multiple occurrences they did nothing. The upstairs neighbors were allowed to continue disturbing and violating my right to quiet enjoyment and enjoyment of living. No one should have to pay the amount of money they charge for rent to live like this. Please find another apartment, this complex only cares about payments,
