3737 Chestnut

Lived here for 2 years, front desk staff is really nice and the apartment is always staffed with security, very safe. Maintenance team usually fixes problems within 1-2 days so it is quick. However I do observe some problems starting appear as the building ages, the floors start peeling off and door frames get stuck due to temperature difference in summer.

A great place to rent for Penn students. It's for graduate students but if undergrads have taken graduate course, they would qualify as well. This place is quite convenient for students walking to campus and various locations. The lease might be a little high comparing to on campus highrises and other far out places but its location and quality are pretty good. The apartment building's rooftop is a pretty vintage point to view the city line. The second floor of the building has lounges and games (a pool table, a ping pong table, and a mini-curling table...) for people to relax.

3737 CHESTNUT is an elegant new apartment building located at University City, a few blocks from the Science Center, the Innovation Plaza and the Wharton School of Business – great location. It is at a short walking distance from nice restaurants, a beautiful park, a movie theater, grocery shopping, etc. The apartments are spacious, modern, and have good insulation. I have lived in this building for 1.5 years, and never heard any noise from the bedroom above mine. The management is respectful and helpful. Particularly noticeable is the professionalism and fair business skills of the Assistant Manager, Mr. Christopher Bedrick, who goes above and beyond to work with the residents and to create a pleasant environment. I lived at 3737 Chestnut for a year and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The building is modern, well-maintained, and located in a fantastic area close to everything you need. What truly made my stay outstanding, however, was the team behind the scenes! Rose from the leasing office was always kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful, whether it was about maintenance requests, lease questions, or just everyday support. She made me feel welcome from day one and played a huge role in making 3737 feel like home. Highly recommend this building to anyone looking for a great living experience in Philadelphia!

The sound insulation is extremely poor. The price goes up every year, but the facilities are outdated and don't match the soaring price. The office won't solve the problem either and has a very bad attitude.
