32 WEST Ohio City Apartments

I recently had the chance to visit a friend at 32 West Ohio City Apartments, and I was really impressed. The building has a modern, welcoming feel, and the location in Ohio City couldn’t be better—close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and everything you need. The apartment itself was spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of natural light. After seeing it firsthand, I could definitely see myself living here and would love to explore leasing options in the future.

My Place Group/32 West has a seemingly systematic practice of illegally withholding security deposits. When I moved out of 32 West in mid-August, I received a statement that 32 West would be withholding my ENTIRE $1300+ security deposit based largely on a series of "turnover recovery" cleaning fees. The statement came with poor-quality photos that did not depict ANY damage to the unit. Instead, these flat, itemized fees ($25 for the microwave, $25 for the toilet, etc.) appear to be an attempt by the building to illegally recoup normal cleaning costs associated with unit turnover, despite the fact that under Ohio law, tenants are not liable for normal wear and tear, much less the cost of cleaning a unit for a new tenant. I have lived at 32 West for the last 3 years in both a 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom apartment. The units are spacious, clean, and updated. I have tons of room for storage throughout the unit. There are gorgeous lake views throughout the apartments and the community areas that really take this place to the next level. I never get tired of watching the sunset over the lake. The cost is super reasonable and I never have any trouble parking on the street which is unheard of in a city. The area is so cute and there are lots of restaurants in walking distance. Staff is also wonderful and always willing to help you!

I love 32 west. Spacious plans, updated units. Excellent views and location, so much to do and see. I've never had a place where all the residents are enjoyable. The common areas are always clean, I feel like someone is always cleaning when I'm coming or going. Tanner is always enjoyable to talk to and attentive. I highly recommend this place, see you soon!

Living at 32 West was a great experience for us. Our apartment itself had an open layout with a modern kitchen, updated floors, and balcony which we loved. The building was also incredibly quiet, and the neighbors were really friendly, which made our time there even more enjoyable. The sky lounge overlooking downtown and the lake is a unique perk, especially on nice evenings, and the pet-friendly policy was a must for us. Plus, the location is really ideal—you can walk to local coffee shops, restaurants, and fitness studios. We also want to thank Svetlana and Matt from MyPlaceGroup, who were so helpful and accommodating throughout our time there. All in all, we’d recommend 32 West to anyone looking for a convenient and welcoming place to call home in Cleveland.
