I had a wonderful experience moving into 300 Optimist Park! I have actually lived here before and moved back 5 years later. I will say that management has changed for the better. This place rocks! Alexis, the property manager is very responsive and pleasant. She wen out of her way to show me the unit and worked with me to ensure a seamless move. I did have to put in a few minor maintenance requests, and it was super easy and the team came out right away to fix any issues. I love the location as it is only a 2 minute walk to the light rail and you can get anywhere in Charlotte within 20 minutes. It is also right across the street from Optimist Hall, which is a great food hall with lots of options as well as a coffee shop and shopping. The apartments are well appointed and spacious. They hav

I have lived here for 3 years and enjoy it! It’s affordable, in a good location, and I have had positive interactions with staff when issues have come up. I have noticed improvement after feedback was provided regarding overall maintenance of the building and grounds and do note an effort to improve experience all around. I do wish it was easier to consistently contact management (adding an email address to reach out to), but have overall enjoyed my time living here.

I initially reviewed 300 optimist park about a year ago when we were still under the old management. Since the switchover, I have had hardly any complaints about the complex. The garbage or poop stations are never overflowing anymore. Any issue that I have with my apartment is resolved in a reasonable timeframe. The lady in the front office (I believe her name is Alexis) is always really nice & helpful whenever there’s something I or the residents need.

I have been a resident here at 300 Optimist Park since the complex first opened in 2018. The one absolute positive that this place has is the location. The light rail station and Optimist Hall are right across the street. Little Sugar Creek Greenway is a 3-block walk to access. Plus, the proximity to neighborhoods of NoDa, Plaza-Midwood, Belmont and Villa Heights. This is a no-frills apartment – meaning there are no amenities. No elevator, pool, fitness center, sauna/spa, clubhouse, coffee bar, dog spa, dog park, car wash, grills, or car-charging stations. But in their eyes, they are a luxury apartment with a prime location. They love to compare themselves to the 5-story luxury apartments that have all the amenities that surround us. This has justified them raising rates over 15% each tim

11/19/2024: I just moved in on November 8th and am already regretting my decision about signing here. The location is great & I don't really care about the lack of amenities since I didn't really use them often when I lived in other complexes, but the maintenance team and the office staff do not communicate well at all. Before I signed my lease, I asked Avery to send a walkthrough video since I lived 4 hours away and they are not open on the weekends when I could visit. She told me she'd send it by the afternoon that day, but it took her almost a week after a couple reminders. I was in a rush to move & the apt looked nice & clean in the video, so l didn't think too much of it. The day I moved in, my dishwasher was flooded with smelly water. There were leftover adhesive strips for hanging
