This place has a building-wide rodent infestation, and management does everything they can to avoid responsibility. I lived here for nearly two years, always paid rent on time, and never caused issues. But once I reported a rodent problem in my unit, the situation quickly exposed just how unprofessional and neglectful this management team is. I first reported the infestation on May 13 and got little to no response. When I followed up, they finally sent someone to place a single trap in the kitchen—even though I clearly stated the issue was in the bathroom. It became obvious this wasn’t an isolated issue but a wider building problem, and once management had further proof of that, they completely backed off and stopped offering support. Honestly it isn't bad here. It's lacking in amenities, sure, but the management is fairly responsive, and I haven't had to really ask for much to be fixed to begin with. Other reviews mentioned a car being broken into (Denver classic), but I remember that car having several boxes in the back. My car was 'entered' (I forgot to lock it, and it was undamaged) but on the whole, I have enjoyed living here for 2 years. The units are freshly renovated, the laundry room has new washers and dryers, the location is prime, and the residents are pretty normal. I haven't had any issues for a while with anyone acting strange or aggressive. I agree with the other reviewer to a certain extent, however I see things a little differently. I lived in this building for about 6+ years and Cornerstone has only had it for maybe two years. They have updated all the apartments to make them more modern with dishwashers and nicer ranges and faucets, etc...Before Cornerstone it was managed by Deerwoods for a year or two and before that it was Klos Realty and I'll tell you things were much worse and never taken cared of when they managed it. Unfortunately the trade off was prices were much lower then, however I think Cornerstone has always had great management and while there are issues here, they do listen and try to make changes. When I tell you to never live in a cornerstone managed unit, please heed. I would never leave a one star review for anything, but truly these last 3 years across different units has been nightmarish. From poor pest control (dealt with bed bugs for a month in January, and currently having roach issues that have not been followed up on), unjustified high rent with a lack of amenities, work orders that were filed as completed but no work was done, and, to follow up on the bed bugs…. The laundry room was public access at one point leading to vandalization of the machines which took a couple weeks to replace, so I used a nearby laundromat where I got bed bugs. This complex is near a huge busy intersection ambulances, and firetrucks are NONSTOP good luck getting any decent sleep, also we have had our cars vandalized multiple times here, homeless population roams through dumpsters and does drugs constant underneath the carport, as well as the laundry room was broken into and vandalized 2 months ago. Renters beware!
