225 Grand Apartments

Lived here for almost four years. Pros: Very nice and friendly front desk. Maintenance is quick and reliable. Elevators are mostly reliable and wait time is minimal Cons: walls are paper thin, so good luck if you live next door to idiots who never stops their yapping dogs

I have to agree with another recent review. I toured these apartments recently and they were disgusting and nothing luxurious about them. Outdated, old and overall looked grimey. We turned down a hallway and it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Old school accordion closet doors that wouldn’t open/close properly, etc. You can have all this for $3000+ in rent! Some of the 1-bedrooms have carpet and I was told they mostly deep clean the carpet but don’t replace it between tenants. This is a dog friendly building and you don’t replace carpets between tenants? One of the units had recently been moved out of, so it wasn’t cleaned at all. It was digusting and I was shocked they’d let prospective tenants view it without cleaning it. I couldn’t wait to leave, I was so appalled by the condition

We (two humans and a dog) lived at 225 Grand for about three years and absolutely loved our experience there. The building is not only well maintained, but the staff is exceptional - huge shoutout to Terry, Manny, Denisio, Joe, Marz, and Tracel. They were always so helpful and attentive, treating us with kindness and respect, and made us feel welcome every single day. Another highlight is how pet-friendly the building is. Our bulldog had the best time getting treats and enjoying all the dog-themed events. We truly cannot recommend 225 Grand enough!!

Living in 225 Grand for two years and it's the best apartment I have ever lived in Jersey City. Everyone at the Front Desk is super nice and helpful. Maintenance team is always really reliable and fast to respond the requests. The area is amazing and common areas are clean. I 100% recommend Everyone for 225 Grand.

We just moved in a few days ago and already love this apartment! Fantastic location – quiet, safe, and within walking distance to the PATH train. Convenient parking – with EV charging available at a very reasonable rate of $0.25/kWh. Well-maintained facilities – the refuse room is always clean and organized. Exceptional staff – everyone is friendly and professional. Special thanks to Terry, who was incredibly helpful during our move-in and sofa delivery. And more... – overall, a great place to call home. Highly recommended!
