I had a similar experience living here like some of the recent reviews for this apartment building. I lived here for 3 years and had 3 property managers during my stay here. I had a couple of bad experiences or impressions with the current property management company that owns the building. The first were the widespread messages sent to the building about making sure we don't "let in" non-tenants or be subject some sort of penalty. It felt like they put the responsibility on the tenants here to vet through who "looked like a tenant" when entering/leaving the building. I feel like as a tenant its not my job to determine who "looks" like they live here or not and lowkey lends itself to a whole can of worms on discrimination. I have some questions about the security company they contract wi

The good: - The staff is generally friendly and welcoming and the building is managed professionally - The apartments have great layouts & kitchen and bathroom are good quality - The janitor/maintenance guy is amazing; All my issues were usually fixed within 48 hours. The bad: - The insulation is practically non-existent. Moving into a building build in 2013 I thought I would have airtight, insulated windows. In reality, there is cold air coming in through all the gaps including the power sockets located close to the windows. - They started moving in people who do not respect social norms. My hallway regularly smells like tobacco and weed even though the house is supposed to be smoking free. These people also have loud fighting matches with their rotating list of interesting guests. - The

From finding me the perfect unit to lending me equipment to make my move easier, Tila and Cori made moving into 206 Bell a dream. We decided on Memorial Day weekend for my move in and the few things I requested from them were completed to my satisfaction by Thursday. The building has been tidy, secure and is already starting to feel like home.

I've been at 206 Bell for about three months now and I have no complaints. The management staff is super responsive, professional, and they always have fun events for the residents. The building is kept clean and the elevators are never out of service. I also love the location, but there are people who are sensitive to having homelessness in their neighborhood, so if this is you, tour the neighborhood beforehand. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and the waterfront is about a six minute walk.

I lived at 206 Bell for 3 years. The rooftop is amazing, when it’s open and the elevators are working. I had 3 different leasing companies in the 3 years I lived there. I had a $900 deposit and upon move out received only $60 back. They charged me $300 for cleaning. I had agreed to have them clean the apartment but was never given rates. I have never been charged that much for a clean, as the apartment was empty. They charged me for painting (mind you the unit had been occupied for 4 years, paint is a normal move out process) I was charged for things such as a outlet cover to be replaced 😒 and two months of “back utilities” which is confusing since I paid a utility bill every month I lived there. I would not recommend moving here, or give it a year when they probably end up with a new lea
