1808 Edgehill Apartments

1808 Edgehill is a small complex of eight 1 bedrooms associated with The Village at Vanderbilt apartments. They keep it up well and the maintenance team is great. It comes with a washer/dryer which is nice. Some other notes- If your apartment is on the east side of the building your living room will get pretty dark (living room window is facing the outside hallway which does not filter much light through). While it was great not having a commute into the city and the Edgehill neighborhood was a plus, the apartments are surrounded by four daycare centers. This is good for families, but it gets very loud with kids playing nonstop during the week when they are outside and you have your window open. Just be advised. Lived at this property for two years from 2016-2018. It is managed by the same company that does the Village at Vanderbilt which are more expensive apartments closer to the hospital. This place doesn't have a lot of reviews because the property is so small with only 8 apartments. However this is truly a gem. The location is amazing, you are next door to campus security, between two daycares, and across the street from Vanderbilt's Peabody Campus. Also, within easy walking distance of Midtown, Demonbreun, Music Row, and Centennial Park. Most of the tenant seem to be Masters students and because there are only 8 apartments noise levels are minimal and for most of my stay I didn't even know I had neighbors.
