For the record I’ve removed more positive & previous review from 2 years ago. I’ve lived here for just over 3 years and in those 1095+ days the gate for our “GATED” community has been functionally working for only about 5 of those days. It’s pretty sad. What are we paying for? I see neighbors moving out left and right. The new company put up large tacky adverts stating that there are vacancies. Eek. 😬 The pool used to have lights at night. It looked and felt upscale, especially when passing by from the street side. I had a sense of pride to live here… not to mention that we used to swim until it closed at 9pm. The lights haven’t been on in over a year. It’s all broken. It looks bad. If Cortland was a responsible management company, they’d issue the residence a refund for the additional

This property deserves 0 stars. I’ve only been here since May 17, and I have seen over 150 spiders in my master bathroom. I absolutely do not like spiders! There is a spiders nest in the exhaust fan. I have been reporting this issue with management and no one would listen to me. They would use the same method of spraying the ground, but that is not the root of the issue. There is a structural problem with the exhaust fan in the bathroom to where not only spiders, but other insects like rollie pollies are getting in. I’ve lived at this property for three years, and this is by far the most dissatisfied I’ve been with management. Multiple maintenance requests have been submitted and ignored for over two weeks with no communication or updates. On top of that, an incorrect late fee was added to our account even though our rent is consistently paid on the 1st of the month, as reflected clearly in the ledger and per our lease agreement. Since the new management company took over, the leasing office has been consistently vacant and unreachable. There is no reliable point of contact, which is unacceptable for residents who need timely support and accountability. After Experiencing Water leak from the up stairs Apartment I noticed a Brown Spot just this Morning. I didn’t get the new Maintence Guy’s Name but he came out very quickly to check out the Spot and Secured it. In my Kitchen on the Wall over the Refrigerator. Brown Spot round Circle! I Appreciate how he taken the time to Double check the Ceiling in the rest of the Apartment to ensure no other leaks or Brown Spots. This was a new Spot! Thank You for a Job Well Done! I honestly wouldn't recommend moving here. The gate has been broken for 3 years. VERY UNSAFE ! Several people tires has been slashed by God knows who .They keep lying and saying the gate is going to get fixed. Very bad bugs. Dog poop all over the complex, kids toys are everywhere. The leasing office is neverrrr open, and they are verryyyy rude. Except Pleasant she is very sweet. The breeze ways are always nasty. They post your rent amount on the 4th and expect you to pay rent and other fees separate while still giving you a crazy late fee. Then give you 3 days to vacat if fees not paid. They don't fix nothing. Take your hard earned money to somewhere more presentable. I am so sick of these properties just taking our hard earned money and treating occupants like trash as long as they get t
